Benjamin Muñoz is an award winning printmaker and sculptor living in Dallas, Texas. His work is often reflective of his heritage, upbringing, and current surroundings. Muñoz often stacks the imagery in his work to symbolize the idea of everything in life being dependent on what came before it. This idea of family and how each generation supports the succeeding one has become a central focus in his recent work. A largely self taught artist, Muñoz has had several solo exhibitions and his artwork is in several museum collections and private collections across the United States. Muñoz has had articles about his work published and discussed in several arts and culture publications, blogs, podcasts and portfolios. He also regularly gives artist talks at studios, galleries, and universities throughout the country.
