Ariella Har-Even is a jeweler and metalsmith currently living in Cleveland. Through the use and exploration of both traditional and nontraditional jewelry materials, she aims to use wearable art as a form of storytelling.

Har-Even is the recipient of a First Juror’s Award from the Enamel Guild North East; an AICUO Award for Excellence in the Visual Arts; the First Agnes Gund Memorial Scholarship; and was a 2019 Windgate Fellowship nominee. Her work has been exhibited at various locations, including the Riffe Gallery (Ohio), Galleries on High (Ohio), the First Commonwealth Bank (Ohio) and Reinberger Gallery. She has presented her work on adornment as archetype to the Jung Cleveland Association.

Adina Davidson, Ph.D., is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University (1993) and the CG Jung Institute of Chicago (2019). She has a private practice in Jungian Psychoanalysis in Cleveland Heights and Beachwood. She is the mother of two grown children and one adored grandbaby. As a Jungian Psychoanalyst, Davidson’s focus is on respectfully furthering each person’s unique individuation process through methods of accessing unconscious, latent knowledge and potentials. These include dream work, active imagination, myth and fairytales, your own creative work, and attention to the body.

Creativity Hour is a series of Cleveland Institute of Art alumni conversations that explore each graduate’s artistic practice, inspirations and professional experiences. The talks are organized by the Alumni Council and will also cover the speaker’s time as a CIA student and include their advice for young and aspiring artists. Previous Creativity Hour talks and other CIA virtual programming can be viewed at cia.edu/virtualvault.
