FREE all-ages workshop to design a family crest for a ceramic tile mural in Roberto Clemente Park by Angelica Pozo. Supply kits will be provided.
Angelica Pozo is designing a ceramic tile mural to be installed on the small snack building in Roberto Clemente Park. We need your help!
The theme for this mural is “Celebration!” and we are asking for community input in 2 different ways. One is a virtual workshop where you will be asked to design your own family crest. These crests will be turned into ceramic decals to be included in the mural design. The 2nd way to participate is through a survey, which all workshops participants will receive upon sign-up.
This virtual workshop is open to anyone who works, lives or plays in the Clark-Fulton, Brooklyn Centre, or Stockyards neighborhoods.
All ages – children under 13 should have an adult present to help and to make sure that art is submitted according to instructions.
This workshop is FREE!
Dates:
February 24th from 6-7pm (ENGLISH)
February 24th from 7-8pm (SPANISH)
March 6th from 1-2pm (ENGLISH)
March 6th from 2-3pm (SPANISH)
