About Kristin Englund, MD
Kristin Englund, MD, is a Staff Member of the Department of Infectious Disease. Dr. Englund is also a volunteer at the Free Medical Clinic of Greater Cleveland and for MedWorks in the Cleveland area.
Dr. Englund earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Oh. She completed an internship, residency in the Department of Medicine and infectious disease fellowship at Northwestern University, Foster McGaw Medical Center in Chicago, Ill. She is board certified in internal medicine with a subspecialty certification infectious diseases by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She has published a number of articles on topics such as antifungal susceptibility testing, yeast, and infectious causes of infertility, among others.
About Purva Grover, MD
Purva Grover, MD, currently serves as the Medical Director of Pediatric Emergency Departments at Cleveland Clinic. As an Emergency medicine physician, she understands the unique aspects of pediatric care and enthusiastically represents that niche .She is also heavily involved as the Medical Director of Operations at the Cleveland Clinic and served on the Incident Command for Covid Response and is a current member of the Covid Vaccine Steering Committee. As past President of Ohio chapter of American College of Emergency Physician- her leadership and advocacy efforts have focused on public health safety and Insurance policies. Besides authoring multiple articles in renowned peer-reviewed journals, numerous book chapters- she has been a guest speaker at local, national, and international venues. As a leader, she strives for honesty, transparency, and inclusivity . An avid reader and a seasoned traveler, she lives in Solon with her husband and two young boys.
