Butterfly Effect: Insects and the Making of the Modern World

Butterfly Effect: Insects and the Making of the Modern World

Presented by Cleveland Museum of Natural History at Online/Virtual Space

The Butterfly Effect is a wide-ranging tour across time and around the globe of all the ways insects have shaped our history and been essential to our lives–from fashion to food, from music and medicine to the worlds of business and scientific research. Humans have not only coexisted with but relied on insects in myriad fascinating ways for thousands of years–and continue to do so today.

Mr. Melillo will give us an overview of the book and discuss it briefly with Harvey. Then the floor will be open for your questions.

We are also pleased to announce that in partnership with Loganberry Books you will be able to purchase your own copy of Butterfly Effect, which will include a sign bookplate by Mr. Melillo.

*Please note that the purchase of and delivery of the book will be handled by Loganberry Books, and not the Museum. Once registered, you’ll receive a link to order your copy of The Butterfly Effect.

Registration for this event will close approximately 15 minutes before the start of the lecture.
