It is free to shop for lots and lots of gifts made by local artists and fine crafters. Everything is handmade and priced to sell. Please shop local and help your neighbors.
YAC is now accepting applications for our Holiday Show. There are Three ways to participate.
1. Member Show: If you are a YAC member artist there is no charge for being a part of the members show but there is a 40% commission on any sales so mark your prices accordingly. If you would like to become a member send a request for membership with your email and a form will be emailed to you. There is a $75 membership fee that is renewable each year. Entry deadline for the member show is Sunday 11/8/20 at 5pm. You must submit all forms and requested items by email, snail mail or in person not later than the deadline date to be considered for this event. The member show will run at the same time the holiday boutique and Twinkle Shop. Starting the Saturday after Thanksgiving to the Saturday before Christmas. 11/28/20 to 12/19/20. Your work can be viewed during each weekend (Thurs, Fri, Sat) at the Holiday Boutique sales times and by appointment.
2. Holiday Boutique: This will be a consignment style boutique so vendors will set up their space and then sign up to man the tables for a few hours. The number of hours will depend on how many vendors we have. They will not be required to be there for all of the hours of the sale. Each space has room for a 5′ table. no tall displays or things extending beyond the table. The fee is $30 for Sat 11/28, $90 per weekend If all 3 weekends are paid for at registration 11/28 is free. Consignment will be 70/30. The open sale hours are Thurs & Fri 1-7 & Sat 11-5
3.Twinkle Shop: Everything in this area will be tagged at $5 or less and all sales benefit YAC’s educational programming. Last year’s sales enabled us to offer free programming for 3 Kindergarten classrooms. The items sold are things that students have made, and donations from artists and crafters. If you want to help us in this year’s Twinkle Shop, just send me an email and we can set up a time for you to drop off donations or to discuss more details. We accept hand-made and monetary donations. The shop will be open the same hours as the Holiday Boutique.
You must email YAC at YoungsArtCenter@gmail.com and attach 5 jpegs that represent what you will be selling in the Holiday Boutique. You will then get a response email asking for more information or with the necessary paperwork.
