2020 Sundance Film Festival Shorts Tour

Presented by Cleveland Institute of Art and The Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque at Online/Virtual Space

Canada/France/Malaysia/Morocco/USA | 2019 | various directors

The Sundance Film Festival is widely considered the premier American showcase for new short films. For over 30 years, it has been the launchpad for many now-prominent independent filmmakers (Taika Waititi, Dee Rees, Debra Granik, Damien Chazelle, et al.). The Sundance Film Festival Shorts Tour 2020 gives moviegoers a taste of the festival through six acclaimed mini-movies from around the world encompassing fiction, documentary, and animation. One of them is Sofia Alaoui’s So What If the Goats Die, winner of the 2020 Short Film Grand Jury Prize. For the complete program, visit https://www.sundance.org/festivals/short-film#tour. Cleveland premiere. 80 min.
