Beginning Music Theory

Beginning Music Theory

Presented by Baldwin Wallace Community Arts School at Online/Virtual Space

Topics covered in this class include pitch, rhythm, meter, clefs and notation. In addition, students will have the rewarding opportunity to compose their own original music focusing on the skills developed through the course. A live Zoom class will be offered during the week to interact with others and the instructor, and to practice skills together. This program is based on the principles of the Dalcroze approach.

Please note: students should register for the level they think is most appropriate (Beginning or Intermediate). Students will complete a brief skills assessment before the class begins and may be moved to an alternate level, if necessary.

CAS UNBOXED brings the quality arts programs you expect from Baldwin Wallace University’s Community Arts School straight to your home!
