Print Thinking for Papermaking (Canceled)

Print Thinking for Papermaking (Canceled)

Presented by Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory and Educational Foundation at The Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory and Educational Foundation

Canceled due to COVID-19.

Learn to apply printmaking terminology and its associated thought processes to hand papermaking. The techniques you will explore in this workshop include image reversal, registration techniques, and modifications to paper pulp so that it behaves more like ink. Throughout the weekend you will complete a variable edition of 10-20 paperworks based on your own artwork and design through the use of pulp stenciling, paper pulp monoprinting, shaped sheets, and embossing. You will also have the opportunity to create a sampler portfolio of techniques taught in the workshop for future reference.
