Graffiti HeArt launches a graffiti stencil program and mural tour, featuring local stencil artists as well as the godfather of graffiti stencil art, Blek le Rat, from France, this May 2020.
Graffiti HeArt, with the support of Cuyahoga Arts & Culture, will be showcasing the art of graffiti stencil art with a serious of workshops, events and educational institution stencil art installations by the world renowned godfather of stencil graffiti, Blek le Rat from France. The program series will begin with a demo and workshop by local badass stencil artist, R!ch Cihlar at the Graffiti HeArt Gallery & Museum on Thursday, May 7th. Blek le Rat will then produce two life-size stencil graffiti murals at the gallery on Friday, May 8th and Saturday, May 9th. A donor event will be held on Friday, May 7th, followed by a ticketed event on Saturday, May 9th, and a public event on Sunday, May 10th. Graffiti HeArt will then invade 3 educational institutions on May 11, 12, and 13th, with Blek le Rat installing life size murals in the Campus International School (CMSD), Cleveland Institute of Art, and the Thomas Jefferson School (CMSD).
