Lake Erie Ink is hosting its 8th Annual Kids’ Comic Con Saturday, February 29th, from 10:00am-3pm. Learn how to make comics from professional comic creators during four hours of workshops on drawing, character design, and more. Costumes are encouraged!
NEW THIS YEAR! TEENS ONLY FROM 5-8PM with a Cosplay fashion show, “Making Change with Comics” panel featuring Terri Libenson, Snack and Sketch session with local comic artists and a ‘Zine exchange. $10 for this session.
Doors open at 9:00am. Workshops begin at 10:00AM. Admission is $10 at the door, and scholarships are available. Lunch will be sold on-site or kids may bring their own. Comics, graphic novels and t-shirts will be for sale. Adults are welcome if accompanied by a child; teachers are welcome with a staff ID.
Tickets are $10 at the door. Pre-register for the event by following this link. Scholarships are available. Call us at 216-320-4757 if interested in a scholarship. To attend the teen program from 5-8, there is an additional 10$ cost.
