Sometimes its helpful to have something you can hold onto in your grief. With the guidance of an art therapist, participants will make a huggable heart-shaped pillow from fleece to remember their loved ones.
One of the difficult things that the death of a special person brings is the absence of their physical presence. Sometimes its helpful to have something you can hold onto in your grief.
Healing Arts Workshops provide grieving people with a creative outlet for their grief and are open to those who have lost a loved one.
This workshop is designed for children age 6 and up. Kids are invited to bring family members along. Supplies and light refreshments will be provided.
A special piece of fabric, brought from home, can be incorporated into the pillow at the workshop.
Free admission; a donation of $5 for supplies is suggested.
For more information and to register, please contact Mollie Borgione at mborgione@hospicewr.org or 216.486.6544 no later than four days in advance of the workshop date.
