Backed by popular demand—Near West Theatre and Veranda L’Ni are thrilled to again host Drag Queen Story Hour on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 11:30am. This event will take place at Near West Theatre, 6702 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44102. This event is FREE but reservations are required.

What is Drag Queen Story Hour?
It’s just what it sounds like — drag queens reading stories to children in a welcoming environment that celebrates diversity and inclusion, challenging all of us to look beyond gender stereotypes.

Drag Queen Story Hours happen all over the world but this is Cleveland’s first!

The program will last about one hour. Participants will enjoy a story or two, sing songs, make art, and dance! This program is ideal for ages 3 to 8 and their family.
