The program will feature two string quartet pieces: John Luther Adam’s ethereal The Wind In High Places and the world premiere of Wearing Away, composed for NO EXIT by recent Baldwin Wallace graduate Nabil Abad. Also on the program is Andy Akiho’s dazzling and propulsive LIgNEouS I, written for string quartet and marimba, Krzysztof Penderecki’s vividly expressive String Trio, and Alfred Schnittke’s haunting and transcendent Stille Musik for violin and cello.
