Improvised Life, created by Deena Nyer Mendlowitz, is a unique storytelling and improvisation show where different performers each receive the same word, write a story about that word from their own lives, and share that story on stage.
We all have different stories to tell and we can even tell the same story in different ways. This Improvised Life, created by Deena Nyer Mendlowitz, is a unique storytelling and improvisation show where different performers each receive the same word, write a story about that word from their own lives, and share that story on stage. Each story is followed by an improv set that takes the story into new and unknown territories. Join us for an engaging, interactive, and hilarious night of improvisation and storytelling that will explore the meaning of identity, how people choose to share or not share parts of themselves, and how that can evolve over time. Limited seating, advanced registration recommended.
