Join Daniel Levin as he revisits the Violins of Hope
Celebrated photographer and professor Daniel Levin captured an intimate portrait of Amnon Weinstein during the Violins of Hope project as he painstakingly restored violins played by Jews in the Holocaust, reclaiming the memory of those who perished. Levin revisits the experience of photographing Amnon’s studio and how his own identity as a Jewish-American artist is represented in the photography of an Israeli violinist, in addition to his other works from around the world. Presented in partnership with Cleveland Israel Arts Connection.
