This 2015 documentary written and directed by Aviva Kempner, speaks to the life, legacy and career of American businessman and philanthropist Julius Rosenwald, who developed a friendship with Booker T. Washington and gives back the Tuskegee Institute
A story about a philanthropic pioneer, Rosenwald helped support a model project for Tuskegee architects elevating design and operations for Tuskegee schoolhouses.
The documentary will be followed by reflections from Black and Jewish leadership on the impact of this cultural partnership then and now!
