Create your own mandala design on a dinner plate in the first session. Your plate will be kiln-fired during the week; in the second session we will share a potluck meal and our memories.
Healing Arts Workshops provide grieving people with a creative outlet for their grief and are open to the community. Supplies are provided; no art experience is necessary.
Participants will create their own mandala design and paint both sides of a bisque (unglazed china) dinner plate with ceramic glazes at the first session. The plates will be kiln-fired during the week so that we can use them for our potluck meal at the second session, which will be devoted to sharing stories. Bring your loved one’s or your own favorite food to share!
Admission is free, but a donation of $5 is suggested.
