Presented by Campus District, Incorporated at Superior Avenue Between East 18th Street and East 25th Street

Travel from past to present in the Superior Arts District with a behind the scenes look at local artist studios and their place in Cleveland’s history.

 

WHY: Avenue of the Arts takes you on Superior Avenue’s journey from historic garment district to thriving arts district.  An immersive experience, spanning East 18th Street to East 25th Street, the event will ask you to discover the creative work of community artists, listen to live music, learn about neighborhood history, explore visual art performances, watch a local clothing fashion show, and shop for local artwork of your own.

 

WHEN: September 13th, 6pm – 10pm, Rain or Shine (indoor + outdoor space)

 

WHERE: E 18th – E 25th along Superior Avenue. Parking available behind Tower Press Lofts and the ArtCraft Building.  Street parking available.  This is a multi-modal event!  Campus District encourages taking GCRTA, bike, or scooter to get to our event.  Superior Avenue is serviced by the #3 GCRTA bus line.

 

WHO: Welcoming art lovers, history buffs, young professionals, students, and people of all ages! The event will feature hubs at ArtCraft, Lake Affect Studios, Tower Press, Hot Cards, and Superior Sound.  Other features include, music: Catharsis Winds; projection art by Lisa Quine; Zygote Mobile Press; couture jewelry from Cleveland Street Glass; historic garments from the costume and textile collection at the Western Reserve Historical Society, and more!
