Eleven day festival featuring dramas, documentaries and short Jewish-themed films at venues around the Cleveland area.
The Mandel JCC’s Cleveland Jewish FilmFest will present a diverse selection of international full-length films, documentaries and shorts from September 5-15, 2019. Each Jewish-themed film creates an opportunity for discourse on contemporary and universal issues among more than 7,000 audience members from the Jewish and Cleveland communities. Select films are followed by an audience dialogue facilitated by artists and experts associated with the film.
Films will be shown at various venues including the Cedar Lee Theatre, the Mandel Jewish Community Center, Atlas Shaker Square Cinemas in Cleveland. The festival will also collaborate with the Cleveland Institute of Art’s Cinematheque program and co-present a film at their venue, The Peter B. Lewis Theater.
