Cleveland Association of Black Storytellers in association with CSU Black Studies Program will host Voice and Vision Storytelling Conference: A Triumph of HER Stories, September 21, 2019 at CSU Berkman Hall, 2121 Chester Ave, 8:30 am-4:00 pm.
CABS Voice and Vision: A Triumph of HER Stories – Storytelling Conference on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at CSU Berkman Hall located 2121 Chester Ave, Cleveland, Ohio will feature internationally renowned storytellers, TAHIRA and Emily Hooper Lansana, each will give voice to the victory and vision of HER stories of our past, and to the continued power and relevance of the feminine in the Blackstorytelling tradition today. Poet and Playwright, Dr. Mary Weems will serve as a guest panelist with TAHIRA and Emily Hooper Lansana. The conference will include workshops, lunch, panel discussion and a storytelling concert. This event is free and open to the public.
