Join us Saturday, August 3 from 12-4 pm for the closing reception of photographer Sophie Schwartz’s show, “Bridged.” This exhibition is taking place at the Riverview Welcome Center, located at 1701 W 25th Street. Cleveland Foundation Creative Fusion artist, Sophie Schwartz is part of this summer’s Cuyahoga50 events.

Schwartz’s project uses the notion of a bridge to lead her exploration of the Cuyahoga River. As she juxtaposes her photographic survey of existing structures and those who use them, with archival images of bridges on the river, she melds and recontextualizes the past and present to inform a larger historical perspective.
