Friday August 2nd features local rock duo MOSSOM and indie folk band duo, Shawn and Shelby.

MOSSOM is a high energy alt rock duo from Cleveland, Ohio. A fearlesslyoriginal drum and bass band, they put a “heavier spin on the raw rock revitalized by the likes of the White Stripes and the Black Keys,” according to Indie U Magazine. David Allen Moss (bass-vox) and Russ Herbert (drums) bring a masterful mix of storytelling, bombast, and musicianship to the studio and stage. Drawing inspiration from groundbreaking rock duo’s like Royal Blood, MOSSOM delivers an infectious style and spirited sound that’s been compared to Cage the Elephant, Fugazi, and Primus.

Shawn & Shelby is Cleveland-based duo who plays acoustic originals and familiar tunes that showcase beautiful instrumentation on the acoustic guitar and cello that supports moving lead vocals. Shawn and Shelby have played many of Cleveland’s venues and festivals together.
