The LGBT Community Center and Near West Theatre are PROUD to host the Queer Youth Prom for our community in 2019. With the success of LGBTQ+ Youth Prom for the past two years, we are continuing to build on a strong foundation for this amazing event. This year’s theme is MasQUEERade, a modern masquerade ball in which youth can elegantly showcase who they are, who they were meant to be, or safely play with the masks we wear in society.

LGBTQ+ Youth can celebrate the close of the school year in a way that allows them to be their truest selves—where they don’t have to sneak to purchase tickets if their date is the same gender as them, where they can wear the clothing that makes them feel the most magical and affirmed.

This is a FREE EVENT, but ticketing is limited! Register May 6 – June 10 on Eventbrite. Every individual attending must register. Valid ID with proof of age must be shown at the door.

No access to a computer? Stop by or call Near West Theatre or The Center and we will register you in person of over the phone.

Need a place to get ready? Come by the LGBT Community Center from 4-6pm to meet queens and get help with your makeup!

Wear your most fabulous Masqueerade ensemble, but please note no full-face masks will be allowed into prom. No mask? No problem! Design your own when you arrive.
