Cleveland Association of Black Story Tellers Children's Program at Halloran Park

Presented by Westown Community Development Corporation and Cleveland Association of Black Storytellers at Halloran Park & Gazebo

Join children, parents & friends  in the beautiful gazebo and park setting at Halloran Park  for story telling songs for a fun & educational program to experience information through creative story telling.  Storytelling is an ancient art form and one of the most natural forms of communication, and plays a vital role in child development.  Children of all ages  enjoy stories that can transport young minds to far away lands, allow them to battle dragons, swim with mermaids and even transform themselves into exciting and unusual characters.   Storytelling is known to have many benefits beyond just improving a child’s literacy. Teachers use storytelling to enhance both listening and communication skills.  After the performance children will be invited to create a craft that inspires them! The splash pool and swimming pool will be open! So bring your swim suit!
