THEATRE PERFORMANCE & TALK-BACK: Improbable Players

THEATRE PERFORMANCE & TALK-BACK: Improbable Players

Presented by Maltz Museum at Maltz Museum

The disease of addiction thrives in the dark. Improbable Players, a nonprofit that provides prevention education theatre, helps communities bring it into the light and talk about it. The troupe was started in Boston and uses theatre performance and workshops to address addiction, alcoholism, and the opioid epidemic, giving their audience the space and tools to combat social pressures and find coping strategies that work for them. This performance of I’ll Never Do That by the Cleveland chapter is based on a true story and performed by local actors in recovery. Appropriate for ages 12+, a talk-back follows the performance and features cast members Keegan Carty, Connor Drake, Joy Gadberry and Karen Snyder, Improbable Players’ Ohio Regional Director . Sheryl Hirsh, community advocate for addiction awareness and education, joins the cast for the talk-back. A must-attend special event!
