The Cleveland Print Room presents a NEW joint workshop with BRICK Ceramics & Design Studio teaches students how to create a mug out of clay, and then transfer polaroids onto its surface!
This workshop runs over two days:
DAY 1: Saturday, May 25, 10am – noon: Mug Workshop at BRICK Ceramics & Design Studio (site) where you’ll build a stoneware mug out of clay slabs.
DAY 2: Sunday, June 2, 10am – noon: Learn the process of the Polaroid lift! Using ImpossibleLab technology, we will print photos from your phone as polaroid images, and then use a process to take those images and place them on the surface of your mug.
The BRICK Ceramics team will handle the bisque and glaze firings of your work.
This class is limited to 14 students; reserve your space here. Registration for both sections of the class is through this link.
