Roots of American Music - Beginning Ukulele Instruction Workshop

This one hour workshop gives youth ages 11-17 years a beginning hands-on experience in ukulele performance. Students will learn beginning strumming and picking techniques and patterns. Simple bass lines, melodic riffs and chords will be taught so that participants can accompany themselves while learning traditional American blues and folk songs. Space is limited so come early.
