Music by French and Czech composers, performed by members of The Cleveland Orchestra and hosted by Bill O’Connell of WCLV 104.9 FM, followed by a reception with beer, wine and Polish treats, to benefit the Broadway School of Music & the Arts.
Paris to Prague: An Intimate Evening of Chamber Music will benefit the Broadway School of Music & the Arts’ operations and student financial aid fund. Featuring members of The Cleveland Orchestra: Ioana Missits, violin; Mary Kay Fink, flute; Frank Rosenwein, oboe; Robert Woolfrey, clarinet; Barrick Stees, bassoon; Jesse McCormick, french horn; and Carolyn Gadiel Warner, piano; and hosted by Bill O’Connell, WCLV 104.9 FM. Each year we showcase a Broadway School student who performs before the concert; this year, adult student clarinet Susan Chute will perform. Museum & Gallery open before the performance and a reception with the musicians follows the performance featuring beer and wine, and pierogi and other delicious Polish treats. Direct wheelchair access to the hall is available from a sidewalk-level door (no steps) and an interior ramp. However, restrooms are two steps up to a hall off of the performance hall.
Parking is available on the streets next to the Polish American Cultural Center (corner of E. 65 and Lansing), as well as in a lot just across Lansing.
