The Spirit of Jazz Brunch will be held at the Thea Bowman Center June 9, 2019. This is the 8th year of this wonderful event that feature local jazz talents . This year will feature Obie Shelton and Russell Thompson. The event provides a continental breakfast and a soul food brunch for  older friends and neighbors to come together to reminiscent about the good old days and for new friends of the Thea Bowman Center to experience the Spirit of Jazz. This event is a great opportunity to appreciate  the Mt Pleasant  community and our local musical artist who give back through the Spirit of Jazz.  You do not want to miss the delicious  soul food  and relax to the sound of great jazz music on a Sunday afternoon.
