The 7 week session will end with a performance of a popular Broadway musical in which the students get to showcase all the skills they have learned over the past 7 weeks.

Acting classes will focus on how to develop different characters, how to portray emotions through body language and verbal tones, how to interpret stage directions and cues, and improvisation skills to strengthen the actors ability to think quickly on their feet while maintaining their character and story line.  Singing classes will focus on how to properly interpret music, breath control, vocal range, scales and harmonies.  Dance classes will focus on musical theater style dance which incorporates jazz and ballet in stylized patterns and combinations.

Each week, students will learn a little more from all three disciplines so they get a true comprehensive understanding of the performance arts and develop the skills and confidence to shine on stage!
