In this camp you will experiment with many forms of art! You will move to get your energy out, play musical instruments and create masterpieces with clay, collage, printmaking and paint. Participants will showcase their talents, connect with peers, build self-esteem and communication skills. The last day friends and family will be invited from 3:30-4 for a talent reception.
The attendees will express their emotions, build relationships and learn new coping skills through a week of hands-on creative arts based activities. They will try creative arts therapies including movement, art and music to develop creative thinking and problem solving, increase self-esteem, responsible decision making, and relationship skills. Boys and girls will be moving quite a bit and using various art materials daily including clay, printmaking, paint and music so participants should dress in comfortable clothes and paint shirts are suggested. They will also be outside on the grass one or two sessions weather permitting.
This program may include activities that could be considered harmful. In order for your child to participant you must sign the Release and Hold Harmless form and return to program location at least one week prior to the program start date. The form and more information can be found here.

The Release and Hold Harmless form will need to returned to the librarian leading the program on the first day of the program or preferably several days ahead. Attend all 5 days please.
