The Brecksville Theatre invites area children grades K through 8th to participate in our Spring Break Mini Camp production of “The Amazing Animal Race.” Based on the classic legend of the Chinese Zodiac, this original play follows 12 very special animals as they compete to see who will be featured first on the annual calendar. The five-day camp will allow aspiring stage performers and artists to get hands-on experience in acting, writing, directing, set and costume design, and puppetry. Taking place April 15-19 from 9am-3pm, the weeklong sessions will culminate in a performance for family, friends, and invited guests on Friday evening. Each participant will also take home their own hand-crafted puppet. Director Rich Stimac has worked extensively in Cleveland, New York and Los Angeles, and appeared at TBT in “Pinkalicious,” “Elephant and Piggie,” and “Wiley and the Hairy Man.”
