Hannah Hoch’s surrealistic photomontages are striking due to their dream-like imagery and Dadaist juxtaposition of subject matter with a piece. While we learn about her life and work, we will use photographic reproductions from magazines to create our own collages. The goal will be to tell a story (real or fabricated) using the collage materials given.
