Showcase Auditions

Join us for Cleveland Dance Project’s Season 4 Showcase Auditions! Our showcase is on May 4 – if you want to dance with us and are at least 18 years old, join us for open call, placement auditions on January 27 to be a part of the area’s largest all adult dance organization! Check out our 20 amazing choreographers’ bios & introduction videos, as well as the tentative rehearsal schedule on our website before open placement auditions on 1/27 at Dance Studio M in Solon. We will do our best to place everyone who attends auditions in at least one piece!

Pre-Registration is REQUIRED, space is limited – only a few spots left in each time slot.

Full day’s schedule (each dancer needs to register for one time slot only):

Beginner/Intermediate-Beginners
11:00am-12:00pm Sign In: pay your tuition if you haven’t pre-paid, start stretching, and meeting your new dance family!
12:00-12:30pm Warmup: Follow along to a simple warm up, then strut your stuff across the floor to show us your personality and movement abilities.
12:30-1:00pm Combo: Learn a short movement combo to show our choreographers what you’re capable of! No preparation necessary, just come ready to learn!

Intermediate/Advanced Group 1
12:00-1:00 Sign In: pay your tuition if you haven’t pre-paid, start stretching, and meeting your new dance family!
1:00-1:45pm Warm-Up: Group warm up and technical across the floor combos
1:45-3:15pm Combos & Improv: Dancers will learn 2 longer combos, one in a hip hop/jazz funk style, one in a contemporary/modern style.

Intermediate/Advanced Group 2
2:45-3:45pm Sign In: pay your tuition if you haven’t pre-paid, start stretching, and meeting your new dance family!
3:45-4:30pm Warm-Up: Group warm up and technical across the floor combos
4:30-6:00pm Combos & Improv: Dancers will learn 2 longer combos, one in a hip hop/jazz funk style, one in a contemporary/modern style.

Intermediate/Advanced Group 3
5:30-6:30pm Sign In: pay your tuition if you haven’t pre-paid, start stretching, and meeting your new dance family!
6:30-7:15pm Warm-Up: Group warm up and technical across the floor combos
7:15-8:45pm Combos & Improv: Dancers will learn 2 longer combos, one in a hip hop/jazz funk style, one in a contemporary/modern style.
