TUESDAY NOVEMBER 6, STORY CLUB PRESENTS A SPECIAL ELECTION SHOW

“SPEAK UP”

WHEN: Tuesday, November 6, 7:00PM

WHERE: The BottleHouse Brewing Co, 2050 Lee Rd Cleveland Heights, OH

Election night is coming so we’re throwing a party! Come join us as we wait for the returns by telling true stories about times we spoke up. We’ll be raising money to support Seeds of Literacy, a nonprofit that helps adults with literacy issues, because you can’t have democracy without literacy!

DETAILS:

• The show has two featured performers (Writer Billy Halal and Story Club Founder Dana Norris) and three open mic slots.
• Open mic participants are given 8 minutes (1300 words) and they may tell a story on the theme or not.
• Open mic sign-up starts at 7:00PM and the show starts at 7:30PM.
• If more than 3 storytellers sign up we’ll draw names for the slots.
• The $10 suggested donation helps support our featured charity plus all donations receive entry into our raffle with amazing prizes!
• Anyone with an “I voted” sticker gets an extra raffle ticket for free!
• At the end of the show, the audience will vote for their favorite story and the winner will receive the coveted golden microphone!
• The BottleHouse serves delicious food & drink and is 21+.
