West Creek Conservancy partnered with the Cleveland Metroparks in 2012 to build a large rain garden on a vacant city-owned lot on Klusner Avenue in Parma.  Since then, we have worked with homeowners on the street to install rain gardens on their tree lawns and other areas of the yard to help control the stormwater on their properties.  On October 12th, we’re bringing volunteers out to the street to do some fall maintenance on the gardens to weed and get them ready for winter.  All tools, gloves, and required supplies will be provided.  If you would like to register to volunteer please contact Emily Rindfleisch at emily@westcreek.org or 216-749-3720 ext 11.
