Now in its 13th year, the Heights Arts Close Encounters series presents chamber music as it was meant to be: up close and personal, in stately residences and unique venues throughout Cleveland.
Your choice: Come for the concert only or come early for a home-owner’s tour of all four floors of this freshly restored mansion and stay for the concert.
The concert in the Salon features Maurice Ravel’s effervescent Sonata for Violin and Cello. Local composing talent Chris Auerbach-Brown’s ‘Constellation #1’ for solo violin will be followed by one of Johannes Brahm’s last compositions: a loving tribute to life and friendship for clarinet and strings.
Performers:
Robert Woolfrey, clarinet
Isabel Trautwein, Miho Hashizume, violins
Eric Wong, viola
Tanya Ell, cello
Season 13 subscription to all four concerts: $200 | $160 Heights Arts members
