Domenico Boyagian’s debut concert as Music Director for SSO, presenting Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1 and Dvorak’s “New World” Symphony, will be October 21st at 4:30pm at the Beachwood High School Auditorium.

The Suburban Symphony Orchestra and its Board of Directors are pleased to announce the appointment of Conductor Domenico Boyagian as its new Music Director.
“It is with great anticipation that we embark on this new chapter in the development of the Suburban Symphony Orchestra and I believe that I speak for the orchestra when I say that we feel very fortunate to have someone as talented and accomplished as Maestro Boyagian taking up the reigns,” says David Clare, President of the Suburban Symphony Board of Directors.
Praised as a “born conductor,” by the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Maestro Domenico Boyagian has dedicated himself to symphonic music and opera, producing performances of compelling artistry and beauty. Boyagian was born and raised in Bologna, Italy, and came to the United States to further his musical studies. He is a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music.
The Suburban Symphony Orchestra (SSO) is a community orchestra that occupies a unique position in the rich cultural life of Northeast Ohio. SSO has built a solid community following, sharing five concerts a season, free of charge.
