A RETURN ENGAGEMENT OF THE DRUMMER AND THE KEEPER

A RETURN ENGAGEMENT OF THE DRUMMER AND THE KEEPER

Presented by Cleveland International Film Festival at Capitol Theatre

Join us for a very special evening at the Capitol Theatre in Gordon Square Arts District where we are bringing back CIFF42’s THE DRUMMER AND THE KEEPER – the first-ever CIFF Opening Night film to win the coveted Roxanne T. Mueller Audience Choice Award for Best Film! This event is made possible with generous support from the Callahan Foundation.

And, as the ultimate bonus, Nick Kelly–the director of the film–will travel from his home in Ireland to treat us to a post-film discussion where he will talk about the inspiration behind the film and relive his time at CIFF42 (spoiler alert: he had a great time!).

In addition, Nick will be joined by Dr. John Hertzer, Director of the Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, who will lend his expertise on some of the mental health topics highlighted in the film. Local broadcasting legend Dee Perry will be on-hand to moderate the discussion, leaving time for Q&A from the audience.

Refreshments will be for sale at the concession stand. So make your reservation today to experience or even relive one of the most celebrated films of CIFF42.
