Join Zygote for a solo exhibition by Gianna Commito.

Commito is visiting Zygote through our AIR Program, which selects one non-print artist from Northeast Ohio and brings them into a collaborative printmaking environment to produce a body of work over the course of several months. This exhibition and artist talk represent the culmination of the residency experience. 

Commito is an artist living and working in Kent, Ohio. She has exhibited at the Akron Art Museum and Cleveland’s MOCA among other venues. She received her BFA from Alfred University and her MA and MFA from the University of Iowa. Currently, her work is featured in the inaugural FRONT International: Cleveland Triennial for Contemporary Artists.

This exhibition will be on view from October 12 to November 17. Opening Reception on Friday October 12th from 6-8 pm and Artist Talk on Saturday October 20th from 10 am to noon.
