Caleb A. Wright is a 28 year old vocalist originally from Cleveland, OH. Caleb is a classically trained Bass-Baritone and has been performing for 10+ years as a soloist and chorus member. Over his career he has played many roles in fully staged operas and many musical theatre productions. Some of his more notable roles have been Balthazar in Amahl & The Night Visitors, Sarastro In Die Zauberflöte (scenes), Bartolo In La Nozze di Figaro (scenes), The Lion in The Wiz, John Parker in His Promised Land (non-musical), as well as many small and chorus roles. Caleb has been an active soloists in the United States since 2012. Caleb has been in over 50 vocal groups and choruses since 2010. As a soloist for The Cleveland Orchestra  and Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Caleb has been reviewed as “A robust bass-baritone, with a rich and warm tone” (Cleveland Plain Dealer, March 2016). He has also been a featured soloists in Los Angeles, New York City, Washington DC, Florida and North Carolina, while also enjoying.Caleb also enjoys a rich and active jazz and contemporary music career as well. As a lead vocalist for 3 active bands in the Cleveland and New York City Area. His own band Alexander Wright & The Collective just finished a live album recording paying tribute to Stevie Wonder entitled “An Evening of Wonder”. Caleb is looking forward to an active and busy winter season as a soloist for Handel’s Messiah, with The Cleveland Messiah Chorus and The Dalton Chorale. Caleb is also looking to release another album with his band , as well as releasing an album with his family’s gospel group The Wright Family Singers In Summer 2019.
