Joddy Eric Matthews is an Award Winning Director, Cinematographer, Editor and VFX Artist with a wide range of credits, including directing spots for Altria, Dow Chemical, USVision, JC Penney Optical, Phillip Morris, Vodaphone, General Motors, Winslow and Sherwin Williams. Recently, he produced and edited the Network Television show, CaribbeanGirlNYC. The dramatic comedy, produced by Overeasy/Gwada of Guadeloupe and CaribbeanTales of Canada, premiered on the FLOWTV Network in September of 2017 and soon on FranceTV. He also produced and edited Pass Interference: The Davone Bess Story, directed by ESPN’s Believeland Producer Branson Wright, which chronicles the troubled life of ex-NFLer Davone Bess and his battle with mental illness.

On the directing side, Joddy has helmed the feature film #50Fathers (Best Feature, GCUFF), along with CCBFF 2015 Best webisode, Nina Blue: Seeing Tomorrow and well received documentaries including Capoiera: Live The Game (2018 Latin Festival Winner), PBS Doc Sankofa Solving X (w/Director CK) 2018 Best Documentaries at Urban Film Festival and Capital City Black Film Festival, have screened at thirty-seven film festivals in twelve countries.

Joddy also continues to serve as a consultant for NVidia, Adobe, SideFX and as a select previewer for VR/AR solutions such as Amazon’s Sumerian solution.
