Great Lakes Theater (GLT), Cleveland’s professional classic theater company at Playhouse Square, seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and energetic individual who possesses excellent interpersonal communication skills to join its creative/collaborative administrative team. Working in collaboration with GLT’s Managing Director, this team member plays a vital role in exceeding the theater’s contributed income goals.

The Donor Relations Coordinator is a full-time salaried position with benefits. GLT is amenable to a flexible and/or hybrid-remote (or part-time) salaried arrangement with benefits for the right candidate.

What you will do as part of the Great Lakes Theater team:

  • Steward and activate stakeholder support. Manage donor gift processing/follow up acknowledgements and coordinate/prepare Annual Fund outreach to exceed contributed income goals.
  • Engage donors. Fulfill donor benefits and related recognition elements, assist with VIP engagement, and deploy sponsorship deliverables.
  • Coordinate and assist with special events. Curate engagement lists, manage third-party digital platforms for fundraising and cultivation events, and facilitate post-event financial reconciliation.
  • Deliver departmental support. Generate contributed income reporting/analysis, assist with grant and sponsorship support materials, and manage ticket donation program for community partners.
  • Contribute to a team-centric culture. Support GLT activities throughout the year.

  • Experience with the Microsoft Office and Google Suites
  • Experience with fundraising database software (preferably Raiser’s Edge)
  • Experience with ticketing and/or ticket-based software
