Violin/Viola Teaching Positions

Violin/Viola Teaching Artists will be responsible for providing daily instruction in group
settings to beginning and intermediate violin and viola students. The Teaching Artists
will work closely with the El Sistema@Rainey Coordinator and the orchestra conductors
to plan and facilitate daily lessons that support and advance the short-and long-term
goals of the program, and that help to encourage and inspire students on the path of
musical and personal growth.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 3:00-6:00, plus one weekly staff meeting. Additional concerts
and events will be held throughout the year, and will be compensated.
Compensation: Hourly. Rate based on education and experience.
