Underwriting Manager

Ideastream Public Media, a Cleveland-based multiple media organization and home to Ohio’s largest NPR, PBS and classical radio stations, seeks a collaborative and organized professional to serve as Underwriting Manager. Reporting to the Senior Director, Foundation and Corporate Support, the Underwriting Manager is responsible for managing a team of Account Executives who secure revenue from local businesses, corporations, community organizations, and advertising agencies through sponsorship of Ideastream’s radio, television, and digital platforms. In this role, you will support the Account Executives grow existing client revenue as well as generate new clients. The Underwriting Manager is also responsible for the budgeting, management, and strategy behind meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and yearly departmental goals for Underwriting.

Qualified candidates will have five to seven years of experience managing a dynamic performance-based account team in a broadcast, non-profit, business to business, professional services, or purpose driven organizational environment and a Bachelor’s degree, though an equivalent of experience in related fields and education will be considered. The salary range for this position begins at $75,000 and includes opportunities for performance goal bonuses and is commensurate with experience. A valid Ohio drivers’ license is required for this position.
