SUPPORT FOR ARTISTS: UNIDOS POR EL ARTE 2022
Julia de Burgos Cultural Arts Center is excited to announce this call for artists for the Unidos por el Arte artist initiative. Open to artists of all backgrounds, including but not limited to: visual, painting, sculpting, photography, technological, dance, theatre, performance, music, history, writing and culture. This program offers three month residencies to ten Cuyahoga County artists between March and September. Priority will be given to latino/a/x artists and artists of color.
Selected artists will receive a $5,000 award, access to JDBCAC art center and resources. Successful applications will demonstrate the artist's understanding of Julia de Burgos Cultural Arts Center and the community the organization serves. Selected artists will also be featured during the center’s Hispanic Month celebration.

This is Julia de Burgos Cultural Arts Center’s third year receiving the Support for Artists grant from Cuyahoga Arts and Culture, which is given to local arts organizations to distribute directly to Cuyahoga County artists.
El Centro de Artes Culturales Julia de Burgos se complace en anunciar esto para los artistas de la iniciativa de artistas Unidos por el Arte. Abierto para artistas de todos los orígenes, incluidos, entre otros: visual, pintura, escultura, fotografía, tecnología, danza, teatro, actuación, música, historia, escritura y cultura. Este programa ofrece residencias de tres meses a diez artistas del condado de Cuyahoga entre Marzo y Septiembre. Se dará prioridad a artistas latino/a/x y artistas de color.
Los artistas seleccionados recibirán un premio de $5,000, acceso al centro de arte y recursos de JDBCAC. Solicitudes exitosas demostrarán la comprensión del Centro de Artes Culturales Julia de Burgos y la comunidad a la que sirve nuestra organización. Los artistas seleccionados también se presentarán durante la celebración del Mes Hispano en el centro.
