The Dancing Wheels Company is seeking to hire a full-time wheelchair dancer/athlete for the 2019/2020 season.

Candidates must have excellent wheelchair mobility skills, be strong and athletic, and be willing to train, travel, and tour throughout the nation and work full time. Workdays (when not on tour) are Monday-Friday 10:00AM-3:00PM. Pay scale is commensurate with experience; paid holidays and vacation time are included.

Audition Date: A private audition must be scheduled in advance.

The Dancing Wheels Company, America’s first, professional, physically integrated dance company, is in its 39th Anniversary season. The Company is a nationally touring dance company that works with highly acclaimed choreographers each year. Most recent works include full-length pieces from Marc Brew, Donald McKayle, Dianne McIntyre, Nai-Ni Chen, Christopher Fleming, Michael Uthoff, Peter Kalivis, David Rousseve and David Dorfman to name a few. The full ensemble trains together with both stand up and sit-down wheelchair dancers in an equitable and accessible environment giving equal opportunity for training and employment for all.
