Part-Time

Hourly position

Hours & Availability:

  • Part Time - Evenings/Weekends; schedule flexibility is ESSENTIAL
  • Must be available to begin shift at 4:30 p.m. and as late as 11:30 pm on weekdays (shift lengths vary)
  • Must be available to work beginning as early at 11:00 a.m. and as late as 11:30 p.m. on weekends (shift lengths vary)
  • 3-4 shifts/week for three weeks during Broadway performances (October-July). On average: 12-18 hours/week

Playhouse Square is seeking an outgoing, organized, people-oriented professional with self-motivation, and the ability to articulate well for the role of RJF Presidents' Club Concierge.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Embrace Playhouse Square values and programs that further Diversity, Equity and Inclusion within the department.
  2. Maintain a roster of guests for each performance and notes on problems, issues and donor related concerns.
  3. Inform the development staff of lapsed memberships for follow-up.
  4. Become familiar with Playhouse Square, its programs and policies and be prepared to answer questions as they arise.
  5. Communicate curtain warnings to Presidents’ Club staff for announcement to guests.
  6. Be prepared to staff special events as needed
  7. Provide the Development Department with pertinent, anecdotal information about donors as the information becomes available.
  8. Provide the following specific services for guests:
  • Greet and welcome patrons.
  • Check eligibility of guests.
  • Provide donor & performance information as needed and requested.
  • Take requests for dinner reservations and communicate to Development staff.
  • Distribute printed materials as needed.
  • Maintain a pre-paid ticket pick-up system.
  • Provide other services as developed by Playhouse Square.
  • Work closely with servicing restaurant and F&B team to insure smooth operation of the Club.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Ability to work a minimum three (3) shifts during major Broadway performances (evenings and weekends availability).
  2. Outgoing, people oriented person, with outstanding interpersonal skills.
  3. Excellent verbal communication skills.
  4. Professional appearance and demeanor.
  5. Self motivated with strong organizational skills.
  6. Knowledge of current PC hardware and software.
