Ideastream Public Media, a Cleveland-based multiple media organization and home to Ohio’s largest NPR, PBS, and classical radio stations, seeks an energetic and responsible individual with great organizational skills and a “can-do” attitude to serve as our Programming and Compliance Coordinator. Reporting to the Assistant Station Manager, the Programming and Compliance Coordinator is responsible for managing Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) reporting including maintaining our public files. This position will also provide administrative support for a variety of program areas as well as for the Community Advisory Board (CAB). The Coordinator will monitor ideastream.org to ensure accuracy in programming schedules, run audience data reports, and assist in the creation of multimedia FAQs for commonly asked questions.
Qualified candidates will have demonstrated proficiency using databases to pull reports and have a combination of excellent writing, communication, problem solving and organization skills and be able to juggle a variety of concurrent tasks under tight deadlines. An Associate’s degree and one to three years of relevant experience in administrative, programming, data or compliance work is preferred, though an equivalent of experience in related fields and education will be considered. The salary range for this position begins at $40,000 and is commensurate with experience.
